About Bay Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta

Preparation time is fifteen to twenty minutes. Popular for a dinner party when you don’t want to spend all of your time in the kitchen. Serve with a mixed green salad and garlic bread. Serves four.

 1 cup cooked bay shrimp or lump crab meat (such as Dungeness)
 1 — 2 cloves garlic, minced
 1 tbs. Parsley, minced
 2 tbsp olive oil or a mix of olive oil and butter
 1 tsp or more of liquid hot sauce
 Course-grind black pepper
 Lemon wedges
 ½ package or slightly more Angel hair pasta

 1 tbs. Capers, rinsed and drained

While you’re boiling the angel hair pasta (it should only take a few minutes), saute the garlic in olive oil or olive oil/butter blend. Add the bay shrimp or crab meat to heat.

Drain the angel hair, place in a large bowl, add the cooked shrimp or crab and drizzle on the hot sauce, add the minced parsley, a good dash of black pepper, and the capers. Toss gently. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
