Thanksgiving Webisode - Farmers Feed Florida
	In a unique program to feed the hungry, farmers in Florida have joined forces with community groups getting food to those who need it. The program, called Farmers Feed Florida, works with regional food banks to harvest produce that might otherwise have gone to waste.

Boy Scouts and volunteers are joining farmer Hank Scott gathering cucumbers from his fields. The produce doesn’t meet supermarket and pickle packing standards, but can be used by Florida food banks to distribute to family food programs across the state.

Cucumber - Fun Fact:
Florida is the number one producer of cucumbers in the United States. And while botanically a fruit, cucumbers are generally thought of as vegetables. Cucumbers originated in India, where they’ve been raised for some three thousand years.
