Citrus Herb Marinade

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, finely chopped (or pressed)
2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh basil and rosemary, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Whisk together all ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

Place in ziploc plastic bag with 4 skinned, boned, pounded chicken breasts. Turn bag with marinade and chicken periodically and refrigerate over night. Use marinade also to baste chicken during the barbecue process.
