Copper Spring Ranch addthis
Copper Spring Ranch Lisa Anderson manages a unique horse ranch in the rolling hills near Bozeman, Montana. Copper Springs Ranch is devoted to raising world class quarter horses and giving riders training in the specific skills necessary for horsemanship competitions.

The ranch also provides internships to young men and women looking for a future in America’s multi-billion dollar equine industry. Lisa says that excellence in horsemanship comes when you have a cooperative effort between rider and mount.

Equine - Fun Fact:
North America was home to members of the equine family way back in history. But those pre-historic horses ultimately became extinct. Spanish explorers brought horses back to the America’s in the 15 hundreds. Many of the wild horses roaming the west today are descendants of those original breeds.
