Episode 714 - Owls Save Crops addthis
Owls Save Crops
The next time you raise a glass of fine wine, you might want to thank an owl for the quality of the beverage. That’s because some California vintners are using barn owls to help protect their fields from rodents that destroy grape vines.

The owls not only help eliminate gophers and voles, but relieve growers of the necessity of using pesticide to control the rodent population.
