Cigar Tobacco Farm
Say “tobacco farming” and people usually think of leafy fields in the south and southeast. But Connecticut farmers have been raising a particular type of tobacco for more than a century.

These farmers grow tobacco that’s exclusively used to wrap cigars. And while there are many fewer farmers raising tobacco here than generations past, the reason centers not on health issues, but urban expansion and suburban growth into the country.
