Consumers today are demanding more from agriculture than ever before.They not only want good tasting and safe food products, they want to know that farmers and ranchers are producing their food with an eye to sustainability on the land.

For Washington State wheat growers Karl Kupers and Fred Fleming that meant changing the way they used their soil and planted their crops. By adapting a “no till” approach, Karl and Fred saw that they could prevent erosion on their land and address other soil concerns.Today, they feel that their improvements in agronomy have made their “Shepherd’s Grain” products dramatically better.
