The rolling hills of south central Iowa have been good to generations of the Faris family. Since 1903, it has provided fertile ground to grow crops and raise cattle. More than 100 years after his great-grandfather first worked this land, Lee Faris is trying to preserve it. For him, the preservation of natural resources also preserves his family’s future.
